How hard could it be to have the camera view window load every time if we have it checked in the view menu. I open the camera view EVERY time I run Second Life. I am sure many others do the same. For that matter why can't we cave the windows configuration that we last logged off with? With SL so buggy and us having to relog 4 times a day to get unfrozen or to get our clothes to load, it just adds to the annoyance having to open all of our favorite windows again. I leave my camera view and IM window and chat history window open at all times. and have to open them EVERY time I relog or login.

Yeah, I usually have my camera view open too! And I was just thinking how handy it would be to be able to just pick to have it open when I log in too! How wierd... lol

Yeah ditto.
I have both of those little thingies open always.

It's picky, but I dont see why one has to open them every single time either.
Saving interface settings on logout is sooo standard in other applications, why not SL indeed?

:(

I know it's a minor thing to click your camera controls on, but it's incredibly irritating to have to do it every single time you log on.

Given the fact that almost everyone uses camera controls, it makes more sense to make camera controls ON the default, and let people click it OFF if they choose.

This also seems like it would be a minor thing to develop. It's been on the feature voting page a LONG time. It'd be nice to get some input from LL as to whether this MIGHT be implemented or not.

When I learned to control the camera with alt + mouse, alt + control + mouse, alt + control + shift + mouse and got used to it I never used the camera window again. It's much faster, very precise and always ready to use. Though a consistent client ui would be nice.

Regards,
Leff.

I did not even know such a thing existed.... Like Leffard says, the key controls quick and simple... I don't even know i'm doing it anymore when I use the keys.

That said, Second Life should remember that you had it open.

Ditto on Statistics Bar. Even if it remembers that the bar itself is open, it doesn't remember the state (closed, open, expanded) of each indicator.
