Right now we can't set the scale for the whole object without dropping a script in every prim. This is insane, and should have been fixed long ago. We could really use a function like llSetObjectScale to set the scale for the whole object, or if for some reason that is not possible, at least give us something like llSetLinkScale, so we don't need to use so many scripts. I'm making a multi-windowed HUD where the windows are supposed to minimize and maximize, and it's going to need several dozen scripts to do it  |

My only idea is that its to try to circumvent people using linkset rescaling to get around the link distance, which can be done by hand to an extent, but a script would enable the trick for other things perhaps.
