I think Cordova should be made separate from the mainland, with its own telehub. Currently, it's a real pain to get to Cordova, since the nearest telehub is 4 sims away. Landowners in the regions around Cordova have to deal with people constantly flying in and out of Cordova with no interest in their land. Making Cordova into an island simulator would reduce traffic and make it much easier to go to Cordova, one of the most popular places in the world.

This has been suggested before, and it is still a good idea.
Better yet would be to make another Sandbox sim thats an island, then you have both Cordova and another dedicated Sandbox sim, splits the load.
I think there is a privatly owned sim that is a sandbox? I'm not sure on this, anyone else want to chime in?

Speaking as one of the only landowners beside Cordova, I really like the convenience of having the sandbox next door. I know that's selfish I guess, but it's nice to be able to pop over the ridge to test my latest stuff. Also, if Cordova had a telehub, how long would it take before someone tried embedding it in an auto-rezzing cube? I think it's fine where it is, attached to the vehicle sims. But that's just my two L$.

Oddly I'm going to disagree with cubey here, being ANOTHER of the landowners of the Aerodrome I'd love it if random physics objects werent constantly flying onto our property from exeriments in Cordova, and if when I went to test a new vehicle in the vehicle sim I didn't have a better-than-10% chance of running into a huge 10x10x10 physics object transported from cordova blocking the road/waterway.

The world needs more sandboxes. Leave Cordova where it is. But, add another super sandbox, four sims, as an island region. No one wants to build in Rausch because of the chance of getting killed, so add another sandbox region up north somewhere for the folks up there.
SL is about building, there needs to be a lot of sandboxes. The ones we have get really crowded really quick.

I would just add 3 more sims around cordova and make one of them have a telehub.

Make a few of those dedicated (script disabled) builder's sims too, while we're at it. I'm at the point now where I won't even bother risking the time building in that place. I'd build on my own land, but it appears I'll have to cut off an arm to be able to afford buying enough land. (Which oddly enough, some people want to actually make a feature in SL....you're nuts!)

But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS!

From: someone Originally posted by Oz Spade I think there is a privatly owned sim that is a sandbox? I'm not sure on this, anyone else want to chime in? I will. You are probably thinking of Inari, which is owned by Schwanson Schlegel. I think that you can build freely there when it is not being used for events. I went there to build a house and it was pleasantly empty and quiet. As for moving Cordova, it's fine where it is. I do however want more sandbox sims overall. If the game keeps growing at the current rate, we will need more sooner or later.

There should be 4 S.B. sims, 2 for adults... and 2 for kids. Its quite annoying being in the sandbox, with pigs and fire being launched at you every which way. There has been countless times where I was working and was launched into nowheresville...

From: someone Originally posted by Goshua Lament If the game keeps growing at the current rate, we will need more sooner or later. No. We needed them, past tense, about two months ago. That was about the last time I was able to actually enjoy time working in the sandbox. I second the request for a no-script sandbox!
