Often I am in game and want to just sit back and get some work done on slimming down my inventory, even just seeing what this (name of item I've had for who knows how long) actually is, or even just trying to get an outfit made and put into it's own folder. Alot of times if I had access to just my avatar and my inventory to move, copy, del, wear items it would solve my problems. Reason why I mention this is there seems to be alot with lag such that makes it very hard at times to get this job done, not to mention all the PMs you get and friends hunting you down to talk. I think it would be neat to have some sort of "Mini" SL where we can go just to handle personal stuff. No lag, no communication, just you, a small room, and what you carry (starting to sound like prison). As Pathfinder Linden said From: someone Sounds like the "staging room" in the movie The Matrix. A little local mini-hideaway would be nice! But I'd be glad just to have some kind of simple secondary client...maybe something in Swing, with all the multiple-select stuff already built into the UI framework, as I understand? Anyway, something just to fiddle with my inventory without having to come all the way in. -- jj |

Judah Exactly what I mean. Just annoying to always get hit by lag or something.
