Hi,

My name is Karrie Gupte. I came across a patch of nice long road which would have been perfect for testing out my driving skills ont he road. However the road will not allow you to get oyur car out. This is a bit pointless having all this nice open road and not being able to use it. Also to tempt you is a car garage, well since when did you ever buy a car where you aint allowed to drive it out of the garage and on to the open road?

The section im on about is in LILY at around location 197,46. The owner is Ben Linden.

If you could make all roads usable this would make SL a much much better place to live and have fun on.

I look forward to your answer on this.

many telehubs by roads also double as rezzing areas. If you can't find a rezzing area look for a peice of private property to rez your car. Then just move it on the road.

Yeah you try finding a bit of private land which people are allwoing you to rez on?? You dont get many thats why i think it should be allowed for you to rez on nay road and not in certain locations.

Yeah, is there any particular reason why more roads aren't set to build-enabled with a short autoreturn time to deter clutter? :) I'm confused. There are times when you glitch on a sim crossing and have to relog or re-rez your vehicle, and it really ruins the sensation of being progressively in motion when you have to fly back a ways or skip forward and put out another car or whatever.

"Ace's Rez Stop" in Hooper gives you access to roads as far as the far reaches of the snow sims. I even have a couple of the free giveaway bikes there for those that need one.

There are only 3 rules if you want to rez a vehicle there...

1) Rez
2) Ride
3) Have Fun

Regular 'rez-ok rest stops' along the highway system would be kinda nice. I guess they'd have to set those on a fairly quick auto-return (and hopefully not overlapping the road, otherwise they'd get the occasional drive-by disappearing), but it'd be terribly handy. :)

Yes guys, thats what we want a lay by so far along to rez on. I have flewn across country to try and find a rez area and there have been times when I have been driving along and the moment is being ruined when I suddenly disappear under the road and unable to move. The only thing to do then is to take back the vehicle and re rez it but you cant lol.

If only it could be allowed to rez on the road, we could all drive nicely and have fun without having to travel to specific roads to travel on.
