Multiple home locations?

Any possibility of seeing the ability to set multiple home locations in the future?

Would be handy for land owners who would like to be able to go from one of their plots directly to the other.

I would love it if we were given a set # of "Direct Teleports" which would work like our Home.. Then we could also set them for land we do not own.. such as where we lease property, rent space for product sales, employment location, etc.

I love this idea... it's such a pain to fight the lag flying from the telehub (usually covered in laggy malls) to my store locations, or properties I own...

If anyone else likes this, I encourage you to vote for the proposition for this I put up on the voting page. (Look waaaaaay back at the last page, its probably still sitting there with my one lonely vote, ha ha)

I'd rather just have scriptable point-to-point teleport functionality.

If that isn't possible, though, this would be an acceptable solution.

Well, you can start SL with a command like SecondLife.exe -url secondlife://simname/XXX/YYY (also works under the Mac with the appropriate changes), and you'll be directly teleported to that sim. Sometimes you get an error like "Sim not available, moved to nearby sim" or so. And it doesn't work well for private sims.

I initially dedicated all of my votes to this proposal however switched them to the tp anywhere proposals as they were much higher in the polls so I felt more likely to be approved. This proposal meets my own needs just fine but previous forum discussions on this option brought forth the suggestion of a list of "favorite places" as an alternative to land owned. This latter idea is inclusive of those who do not own land. I would also think it would have a chance as an acceptable compromise in the teleport anywhere versus telehub debate.
