I've noticed that the downtime tends to be invariably around two hours longer than predicted. My suggestion is for LL to take the time for what they think it's going to take and tack on an extra couple hours. This will compensate for the excessive and almost unwavering underestimation of downtime...

yeah but they should do it gradualy so that we don't pickup on this trend of overestimation. Adding a half hour each time. Bad PR to overestimate downtime.
Anyway i'm using the time to catchup on comics.

They were actually overestimating by about an hour during the patches last summer... Maybe they need to put the pesimist back in charge of the outage estimages  |

Anyway i'm using the time to catchup on comics. Bad PR to underestimate too  it's a fine art I used the time to create a ton of animated textures for myself and catalog a bunch of sound effects from my sound effects CDs... but i ran out of stuff to do 3 hours ago lol |
