What's the point of having these fancy new camera controls, if you can't lock them? As soon as you try to move, they revert back to the default view.... if I want to view myself flying, from anything except the default view, it just doesn't happen.
Also, the camera controls box is not moveable. This also means I cannot take a screenshot (using Prt Scr) and edit in Photoshop very easily as it is in an inconvenient spot, and I would move it to a corner outside of the area I wish to photograph.
It's a great feature, if only it would work.

Lewis I believe you are mistaken I have a cam control system ( CaliCam at slexchange ) http://www.slexchange.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=70536that allows you to set a cam position and stay locked even when moving your avatar. Also the sl cam control is moveable jus by dragging it - at least it was last time i checked ( about 10 minutes ago )

As soon as you try to move, they revert back to the default view.... if I want to view myself flying, from anything except the default view, it just doesn't happen I think you're confusing the new 1.9 camera functionality (a bunch of new script commands for vehicle makers etc) with the old builder camera control panel (which has been there for ages... though most people don't bother bringing up the on-screen control window, as the various mouse-shift-drag alternatives are much easier) To use the new camera functions, you need an attachment / vehicle / whatever that's been specifically scripted to access the new features, as per Adriana's ad above
