With the recent (like over night) demise of Slive, I feel like I'm loosing a part of SL. I may just be the only person. The cause of this is obvious: No one wants to sign up for yet another log in.

It's probably been suggested before, but It would be nice to have a way to stream music from a player/group owned medium. I know it's not as easy at that. I fought kinda hard in my area to talk to my congressman (er woman) to not bother those who stream music on the internet with charges when the music quality isn't even FM. Alas it was all in vain.

Well, I'm more or less just venting. The fact that I was thinking about becomming an SLive Dj kinda fuels me too. ;) I understand why this whole thing happend and I'm thankfull for the time Slive was up. I sure am gonna miss that thought...

SLive will indeed be missed :(

But with all the tech knowledge round here, I'm certain that someone will come up with a soultion, maybe using icecast or something...

My sympathies go out to all who were involved. You did a good thing with SLive, and losing it is surely a tragedy to us all.

Streaming music would be cool to see, you could even have listings of current broadcasts going on if the person wants it listed.

However there is the legal issues, but LL could claim no responsibility for that and take action when persued (as they kinda do with the music files).

I do think it would be cool to see though. :)
