I think it would be a great idea for some of us that have more than one place to go on computers (i.e. Work, University) to have an option to input their proxy server address, username, and p/w.

Yeah. Until then, has anybody had any luck using utilities that adapt programs to a SOCKS protocol?

This wont work too well with UDP based applications. Take it from a master of bypassing proxies.
