We all know that Second Life will use any and all system resources until you have none left, and that it's pretty pointless to try doing anything else while SL is running. So why not create an operating system that runs only Second Life?
There are lots of Linux distros that do neat things like firewalls, network security scanners, wi fi access point finders, etc. It seems logical to have a Second Life distro.
It would probably be pretty easy for someone who is knowledgeable about setting up Linux distros to make a Second Life distro based on Debian or Ubuntu. You might even be able to make a live CD.
Think of the potential. Users could get addicted to SL much more easilly if all they had to do was put in a CD and turn on their computer to become immersed in the sweet delicious crack that is Second Life.
