I am very glad that LL disabled my access to mature sims. Thank you LL.
Unfortunately, however, there have been one or two events in PG sims that I wanted to check out and couldn't do so because the sim was blocked off from the nearest Telehub. The Telehub was south of it ... the only way to get there was to appear in a Telehub like ten sims away from the north and fly there. It would take half an hour with a fast aircraft, counting all the times the servers would puke on the aircraft, no matter which aircraft used.
*sigh*

Flying is fun. Seems a fair trade for no access to Mature sims. I remember your thread about not wanting access to mature sims and I warned of the very thing your complaining of now. You got what you wanted, many go a long time never seeing their wishes granted. Be happy.

It only takes a couple of minutes to fly 10 sims, without an aircraft, maybe five minutes tops, if you stop to look at the scenery. 30 minutes you can fly the lenght of the world and back. No need to be so dramatic.

The lack of telehubs also encourages one to explore their world.

Just curious - was the mature sim block a special thing they did just for your account or is it a new feature in general? If it was just done for you - then frankly it would be pretty silly for them to change the telehub layout just for one person's benefit.
As for traveling by air... there are many options for very fast travel. Talk to some scripters, get a custom jetpack or something. It should never take half an hour to cross 10 sims.

I've got a simple flight-assist belt that lets me cross a sim in just over ten seconds. It's more robust on sim changes than any vehicle.

From: someone Originally posted by Loki Pico You got what you wanted, many go a long time never seeing their wishes granted. Be happy. Happy? Who said I'm not happy? I'm DELIGHTED I don't have access to Mature sims. If you want to comment further about the no-access to Mature sims, please post to that thread, not this one. I want easier access to all the PG sims, too, which is another subject altogether. However, I am able to make do so long as no continental PG sims are completely blocked off. The sim in question, for those who think that 10 sims are easy to cross, was located below the northern part of the continent, where mountain ranges sky-high block off normal travel. I say again, the location desynchronizations and general getting stuck was incessant until I gave up.
