I'd like to see the ability to lock down the name of an object so that others can't change it even if it's set to copy enabled. This would allow people who make freeibie clothes and objects to permanantly mark them as not for resale. This would help with the problem of people reselling free objects, among other things.

You could always make a script that will continually set the name of an object to something :)

We hashed over the script idea(s), it wouldn't work. People want to give away freebies that are modifiable, but keep people from reselling them (I say if people are foolish enough to buy free things then they will soon be parted from their money, but that's another topic). So any script you embed in the object can be easily removed. Plus, you can't embed a script inside a texture AFAIK.
