in Classifieds I've noticed people just asking where to find things etc. We need a "wanted" forum or something like that....

Sure  And perhaps an additional Find mode inworld that didn't scour for individual places but individual items. People making stuff to sell could upload inventory lists and it'd all go in a global database, with pricing and brief descriptions (incl. keywords) and extended notecards if applicable -- which they are, in many cases.It's nice to shop around and see the sights, but sometimes you just wanna shop from the comfort of your own virtual home... speaking of... are there gonna be "remote-buy" systems too? Yeah, yeah, it does sound kinda lazy, but considering that a Telehub isn't nearer to Midnight City, things can get tedious. Just another option and avenue to be added onto what's already available.  _____________________

well I didnt mean something like that. I also enjoy going shopping by wandering. But some people arent window shoppers
 . They want what they want without having to shop around and do research.I meant a forum area for people who are asking where to buy items. People are posting in "new products" where people are promoting their new items, asking where to buy a nice gun or some skins.  There really isn't a section for shopping advice and there REALLY needs to be one. _____________________

Ah yes. We wouldn't want that. "Sex" could be a valid keyword for certain types of services, but of course, the redundancy of keyword spamming could be filtered out so it'd be more like "sex model trains", which is a strange idea for a shoppe *ponders*. A little "Abuse" button could be nearby -- and besides, I can't see any quality business prospering over the long-term if they were to be spammers/make dangerous products/flame on forums constantly/etc.. In this regard, the community polices itself._____________________

Regarding remote buying systems -- sounds like Torley just needs to post in the Hiring forum for a personal shopper I'd go look for the recent thread that had some discussion of that, but this hangover is oppressive...  |

I would LOVE a forum like that. I'm in the planning/building stages of my cottage rentals and there are some specific scripts and items I want, and it would make life soo much easier if I could just post a list of what I need in the forum and then have interested sellers write back or IM me in-world.

Yes, I voice my support again.
There is definitely a desire for this -- and if we get the word out more, including inworld, it will help direct attention to the right place. I get many people looking for stuff and not sure where to find an item they vaguely recall seeing awhile ago. Also, people looking for custom jobs and whatnot... So it is good idea. _____________________
