I've asked for this before but no one payed attention. I am requesting that the 3D editor be updated with an function to mirror objects. Building complicated symetrical things is more diffucult than it should be right now.

Imagine building an arm, with a hand fingers and all, then tring to make the other arm, perfectly symetrical and aligned correctly with the editor tools. You will first think to simply duplicate the arm, untill you realise, "Now I have to turn it around", and then you see that "crap the arm is backwards". You will have to reconstruct the arm, and it will not be symetrical no matter how talented you are.

A mirror function would make more complicated and beautifull things alot easier, and every basic 3D editor has one. I beg the devs to please consider this. I know you guys are guys on more basic and critical issues right now, so I'm not expecting this soon. But if it could at least get on the list, I would feel so much better. Or just say so if you think it's a bad idea. (maybe it encourages people to use to many prims, "dunno";)

Also, can anyone tell me where the "list" is? Can I go somewhere to see ideas that have approval to be implemented eventually, or concidered?

Thanks
P

P.S I know that it may be possible to write script to create duplicated mirrored prims, but I don't think that users should have to go to that extreme. And even after the script is writen, it would still be a more of a hassle to put it in every prim, and it would not be possible to align the new duplicated prims relative to eachother as the originals, or at least it would be extremely difficult and beyond anything I care to worry about.
