I would love to see the ability to rent an entire sim by the day. It would be a great way to hold large-scale events w/o the person needing to much with thier land tier.

For less headaches on LL, it could just be a simple, flat sim - no extra baking needed.

I would like to see this, too. Right now I am looking to rent an island sim for approximately one month. The event will be held on a weekend, but we will need build time and setup time. It is not a money making venture, just a fun time, so I am not willing to put out the cost of an island and the tier for a month. The money tree in my backyard only gives to the kids, not the adults :)

I have plenty of large events spaces and even large land spaces people can rent by the day for events or even week, they're on the mainland and you get more traffic that way.

I was thinking about suggesting the same thing. It would be ideal, especially for demos and things like that, where you don't want interlopers (& their goatse particles and so forth) visible. A private island that you control the access list to would be perfect.
