Particle Stream while building

I would hope that someday in the future we could have the option to selectively turn off the particles that stream from our arm/hand while in edit mode. I keep my Particle Count set at zero for the sole reason that when building, particularly when modifying prims while zoomed way in, the white particle pulses are nothing but a constant distraction and are visually obstructive.

Please excuse me if there is an existing thread for this subject.

Rather than turning your particle count to zero, try turning off particles when building, using control-alt-shift-+ (how's that for a shortcut keystroke). I think there's a menu item under view -> beacons.

Ah, that works. A much better alternative than having to go into preferences. Thanks. :) Still, I'd like to be able to turn off this one aspect of the particles permanently, but it's not the biggest of issues.

Yes, especially considering when working ON particles; turning them off kinda defeats the purpose...

Good trick.

I'd like "llGetClientSettings" and "llSetCLientSettings".

Along with "llTriggerSnapshot". :)
