A few minutes ago, a thing poped up saying I paid someone L$8. I didn't pay enough attention to the name when I clicked "ok" on it and then checked my Account History to see what could possibly pay someone L$8 without them paying me first (which is what I thought it was, but the "you got paid L$8" wasn't underneath). Accoutn history->sales/gifts: (none). WTF? Details: Unkown Transaction: -8. Ok, what object do I own that is rezed inworld that could POSSIBLY pay money to someone without my being paid (i.e. incorrect money into a vendor)?
One and it requires my triggering it and it'd pay a hell of a lot of other people too (my lottery number-slash-payout script). That and it doesn't pay L$8; only 4, 5, 20 and 75 (plus a jackpot of 2500+).

I would like to see objects in the sales/gifts section of Account History. I.E. "Your object, <name of oject> paid <agent> L$<amount>" Or possibly another tab, called...."Objetcs" or something. Also, they'd no longer be called "Unkown Transactions." Call them "Paid by objects" or something. Also, the popups, put the object that's doing the paying in the description of the transaction. Instead of "You paid <agent> L$<amount>" how about "Your object <object> paid <agent> L$<amount>."

I want to know where my money is going in great detail so that if someone is managing to steal from me, I know who and how.

Use the website My Account - transactions for that kind of detail.

The in world my account is pretty basic, but the website ones gives name, object name, etc..so want that detail, head to the website :)

Such detail. I am amazed.
Object Pays 8 2006-03-17 07:57:29
What object?
At least I have a name now (and I never even knew of that transction history, heck, it took a few minutes to find it).

Object is your object name that perform the transection. Which, appearancely, there is no name on that object yet.

No, because my Lotto Ticket Sellers come up as something like:
Object Pays 1 <date> Lotto Ticket Seller v2.1
This particulat object doesn't have that description, it's just blank (along with a bunch of income from camping chairs--totaly blank).
*Goes looking*
Ah, nevermind.

Payment 2 2006-02-25 00:37:49 Lotto Ticket Seller v2.1 <name> xxxx
Payment 1 2006-02-25 00:37:39 Lotto Ticket Seller v2.1 <name> xxxx
Object Pays 1 2006-02-25 00:37:39 <name> xxxx

Money in tells me the object name, but not money out.
(Money chairs are still blissfully blank.)

If it says Object, then your object you made is called Object, give it a more detailed name and you won't have this issue.

Mine are like this, from a vendor

Payment 300 2006-03-18 14:04:39 Rocking Chairs Vendor (H) Avie Name here (withheld for privacy)..

So great detail, as long as you name your objects, else correct, not very useful, but then I never name anything I make object.

No. "Object Pays" is the transaction type. The description holds the name of the object when an object is paid, so why is the name of the object in Object Pays blank?

Ok.
Now I can reitterate my point about a better system. I want to know what object is paying money, so that if something odd comes up I can fix it (like my L$8 outgoing transaction the other day).

Oh...I get what you mean now o.O Mmm...yea...it seem it won't say which object is paying money, only to whom it paid to...

(Semi-bump)
Also, in line with not knowing what objects of mine are paying people *drum roll* Object names don't show up when they pay me!
I know what this is, but it took me an hour to figure it out:
Object Pays.........2....2006-03-28 10:11:47.......<onwer of object>.....<my balance>
