Okay... I am relatively new, and I have had this discussion with many "old timers".

How many times can one accidentally "take" your house off your land? I would say more than 10 times. AND not only that... i've had people return my house to me! ( It would dissappear! lol)

After a few times accidentally "taking" my house off I've stopped laughing and am feeling mighty serious about this issue.

I would like to propose that we have a feature added called "House Land Lock Feature". Ex: some kind of way to make sure your house stays on your land in spite of hitting the "take" button. You can lock it onto your land. Kind of gives a new definition of being "LandLocked" lmbo!.. I know my bad.

Seriously, I hope to see this feature implemented because I am totally frustrated!! lol..

Thanks for the soapbox for me to stand on and gripe.

if it is your own land nobody can return it, but if it isn't your land, the land owner can always get rid of your stuffs

You can lock any object so it can't be moved, edited or taken. In the edit window, in the second (object) tab, check the "Locked" box.

You know.. I have looked and looked for that feature... its actually in the right click: edit for your object, then you click more: then you select the "lock" . And it should work.

Thanks for the tip!
