Here's a few interesting suggestions for future upgrades..... 1. The ability to limit says to your property, so what is said on your property will not be heard if someone lurks on the border. 2. An optional feature for prims to prevent "camera swinging". So, if someone tries to swing a camera through a prim marked "prevent camera swing" it will stop solid. 3. When you have "Create Objects" disabled on your land, prevent people from moving objects into your parcel, have it check for this flag on the property, and if there's no build permission there, disallow the move. Effectively killing sit, edit, move. These three functions alone would vastly improve privacy situation in SecondLife. The ability to stop camera swinging through walls would also prevent people from invading a house uninvited. Since, if you can't swing your camera inside to get something in view to sit on, you can't sit teleport. 4. Finally, llPushMove should be an optional land flag, or only able to be used in unsafe land, I have yet to see a practical use for it outside of weapon systems. Anyway, those are my suggestions.

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible to do #1 simply because they already have it set up for audio so that a stream doesn't bleed into other surrounding parcels. Speech bubbles are a graphic thing, so surely they could suppress them from crossing over from parcel to parcel.

Esch Snoats: They do NOT have it set so streaming audio doesnt bleed cause streaming audio is not handled by the server. When you enter a parcel your client downloads the parcel info from the server including what URLs are set as the audio / video streams. Your client is what connets to those streams directly just as any proprietary media player would. Since you can only physically be standing in one parcel that is why you only hear the music from where you are standing. Lilliana Lowell: Actually there are many legitimate push uses. And there are already a lot of suggested methods of controlling the abuse aspects. Check here: /13/36/106954/1.html

From: Lillani Lowell Finally, llPushMove should be an optional land flag Agreed. The landowner should still be able to push, but third party push should be disabled. (PS, it's llPushObject) From: someone or only able to be used in unsafe land Absolutely not. There's no relationship between pushing and weapons except in the hands of griefers. And turning on damage gives griefers another tool to use against people on your land... From: someone I have yet to see a practical use for it outside of weapon systems. Elevators, river currents, conveyor belts, ... I've set up a half-kilometer-tall gravity elevator, over the big crater at the south side of LostFurest dAlliez.
