You email your drone back with "BUY BUY BUY" but then realise you just need a few more Lindens to close the deal - and then your email server goes down!
Luckily, LL have provided Lindex Via SMS, so you thumb in your details whilst dodging a particularly large condor. In seconds, your account is topped up. You land the hangglider, accepting a glass of champagne from your handsome/beautiful/fluffy assistant, and laugh a laugh that says SUCCESS.

At many banks you can get a check card that works just like a credit card, except it's tied to a checking account.
I got one when i was in college, mine doesn't have many fees associated with it.

well, i guess a first step to this is maybe for Linden labs a user-friendly page for handheld phones/pdas which can log onto SL anytime & buy/sell/check current L/USD rates, not to mention having a "messenger like ultity".
Let be either thru GPRS, UTMC or wifi.
