I would love to see accPlus support in Second Life. Why? because it’s cost effective. It enables broadcasters to stream audio at a lower bit rates with higher quality. This would be an excellent feature for all the broadcasters that would love to save a bundle of money by streaming at a lower quality into second life vs. mp3 streaming. Sadly, accPlus is not currently supported by Second Life

good idea... but I don't think it's free.
Best to gather up many radio broadcasters to show it's reasonable for them to work on that to make you happy. _____________________

accplus runs on a shoutcast server right out of the box. shoutcast is free.. might be some cost to a commercial concern like Linden Labs.
But accplus is a win win situation for everyone. Much better sound from lower bit rates. Win Win Win. That is all I can say about accplus. JP |

accPlus is something that would benefit everyone... a shoutcast server handles an accplus stream right out of the box.
Better sound less bandwidth. Win Win Win |
