As suggested by SuezanneC Baskerville..
The Lindens could create a group that is open join, give it a parcel of land at the Welcome Area, and thus enable folks to reset their home point to the Welcome Area, without making any changes to the program. /108/a6/67012/1.html#post698545 I think this is a great idea, as I have wanted to set my home point back ot the Welcome Area many times, when I was more active in world than I am now.. _____________________

For that matter - I wish there was a land-checkbox for "Allow anyone to set home to here". Sure would make things a ton easier.  _____________________

The big puzzler for me is why you can start SL having your homepoint in the WA, but if you change that, why you can't revert it back.
