I read through the thread about the invisibility proposal:

I think the current proposal is not worded in a way that provides the greatest degree of privacy to all parties. In order to get a greater approval, I propose this similar proposal and urge you to go vote on it.
1. Individuals can chose to appear offline to selected people on their friend list.
2. The map function that puts a red marker on a friend can be turned off for certain individuals on your friend list.
3. Individuals can make it so only their Group and Name marker remain to be seen by everyone, while thier Avatar is only visible on their personal screen (not in-world). This will allow people to freely undress and dress their Avatar without worry of others seeing them.
4. Land owners get the option to turn off all green dots on the mini-map and map for everyone in their parcel of land. This will allow projects such as combat sims, or games like hide and go seek to be possible without cheaters. It will also allow people in their house not to attract the attention of those flying around them. It will also allow places like malls to force people to show their location to others, or allow any other land owner to decide that it would be better for people to be seen by their green dot on their parcel of land.
I have tried to take into consideration the thoughts of those debating on the thread listed above as best I can. I urge you to vote on this proposal if you believe it will make SL a better place. If you don't agree with this proposal, please voice your concerns in this thread.
