It would be great to override the standard perms when creating an object by having some checkboxes in the Preferences menu.
This would allow you to set preferences to your liking for prims, notecards, scripts, etc. instead of having to reset perms each time.

Simple idea which would PROVE VERY EFFECTIVE WHEN I WANNA UPLOAD A LOT OF IMAGES AND SHARE THEM (so I don't have to get Properties on each one and check Copy and Mod boxes, *sigh*!).

Alternatively or additionally, permissions checkboxes right in the inventory list (and for object inventories) would be a HUGE timesaver. Have you ever tried to change all the permissions on inventory items in an object that has 20 things in it? You get a full object update after every single checkbox click, which amounts to a long time spent waiting.

It's too late to add anything to the vote page and expect it to be taken seriously. The hype died that day they accepted the first propsal with a thank you great idea and we're talking about it but need more input followed by a paniced town meeting that quickly went to hell in a handbasket. We seem to have reverted to posting feature suggestions here and in the hotline.

I placed it in the "Other" category, since it applies not only to prims, but also to notecards, clothing, scripts, etc.
