The new continent's roadways need work

I'm having some problems with the design of Agapema. Thanks to poor planning by whichever Linden designed the continent, the roadside plot I've bought, isn't roadway-accessible.

There are two primary problems:

1) The roadside was never properly smoothed. It's a jagged mess, between the edge of my plot, and the edge of the road.

2) The roadway was built at the extreme lower-limit for land height, meaning that it's impossible to flatten my plot down to match up with it.

I've asked about getting the roadside smoothed in the land management forum, and have been told that as it's "linden land" it can't be fixed, because "we don't do that."

Further, as my problem with flattening my land is due to the arbitrary height limits set for all land, I've been told there's no solution to that either.

I am making the following requests:

1) The rule that prevents "linden land" from being edited by land management (such as smoothing the roadside) should be immediately dumped. I saw I wasn't the only one making a request to have the roadside fixed, and I doubt I will be the last, either. Providing Smooth roadsides, as and a seamless transition between road and roadside plots should be a no-brainer.

2) Road-side plots must be allowed to be flattened to the height of the roadway. Whatever other arbitrary limits have been set in place for other land, roadside plots should be an exception. The roadway height must be the only lower-limit on roadside plots - and that goes for the entire plot.

Seriously, if this were the real world, I'd be ale to fix this myself in a single afternoon, by renting a backhoe. Since SecondLife advertises it's customisation as a key feature, it should be inexcusable for "we don't do that" to be company policy when it comes to simple modifications.

i share your unhappyness with the road system. Getting the lindens to do anything involving the roadway is a pain.
