Streaming audio stopping

This is horribly annoying, I cannot even post an event or read forums now without the music stopping. I understand they were doing it to free up resources and that it has always been a feature that just didn't work properly. I would like to suggest that there be an option under prefs for the user to choose if they want streaming music to stop on minimize.

I 100% agree! I use streaming audio on my land as an RL music player and it's really annoying when i tab out to make textures or read the forums. The second i started up SL after the repatch I looked for an option on it and there needs to be one for the sake of my sanity.

100% agreement here, as well. What REALLY sucks is that they haven't made ONE reply that I've seen in the forums to any of the complaints about this new 'feature', and now it's Friday, and we have a whole weekend at least to look forward to before anything is done about it.

Question: What did 1.6.2 do BESIDES screwing up our music?
