Proposal: Add a profile link in the object to the last person that sold the item.

The problem:
It’s hard to buy items where a base creator creates a system that others customize and resell. I want to buy an item that I found in world, but the creator does not sell it and the owner does not log on to SL anymore.

Example:
User A made a book publishing system. User B fills the book with the pages and sells it. Customer C buys a copy and puts it up on display. Now neither C nor A can sell the book, but they get IM’s asking about it.

Implemtation:

1) Since it would be hard for SL to tell the difference from selling vs "resale of used items" I would recommend a button that lets you become the seller.

2)You would have to have mod rights to become the seller.

3) It would be displayed in the editor.
