I would really like to see an LSL function to return a single agent's-keyed items to their inventory, or to delete them. Rental systems could then be updated to return items when rent is not paid, removing this time-consuming task out of the land-owners hands.

You need to look up llAddToLandPassList. I use it on my security system to return people's objects to their inventory.
