Couldnt find it int he forum, but it would be great if you could do includes in an LSL script.. it would make some parts of SL scripting immensely easier.
Thanks ![]() |

yes library scripts and includes would be great
in the mean time take a look at this: /54/cd/18987/1.html I support this feature request if it isn't already obvious. _____________________

Script Libraries
08-09-2004 11:12
My preferred feature, which has been requested several times in the past year, would be script libraries.
A script library being a script with no states, with functions/methods that can be called sychronously from another script and/or asynchronously from another script (without having to use link messaging and message parsing.) The asynchronous version can sort of be handled currently through link messaging by using either the num or id values to match up query/response. But synchronous calls to a script library would be fantastic, ESPECIALLY if the script library can have "global" variables even though it doesn't have state. The benefit of the library method over the include method is that it saves stack space because the logic doesn't end up being compiled into the script, just the RPC call. _____________________

Constants should be higher up on the list. Using variables in place of constants is a total waste of precious memory.
