Actually I am sure we probably won't get such sophisticated figure support, but Victoria 3 and Michael 3 from Daz3d are the 3d industry standard for poseable male/female figures in Poser. If we cannot get support for them, could we at least have support for the Poser 4/5 figures instead of having to resort to Poser 2? The current figure support in SL is really frustrating, as there is no figure that matches the SL body correctly, so poses especially are a frustrating experience. I know we are only at our first release on animation support - I just hope in the future we can have more sophisticated support of Poser.

Not without redoing the entire bone structure :/ see you can accually animate just fine with those figures from what I've gathered as long as you don't touch bones the SL AV doesn't have(fingers, jaw, etc), thats kinda hard to do though but right now the poser 2 figures just happen to match the SL AV the most, maybe they'll make the AV more complex soon :) mm animatable fingers would be such fun

oooooo...please update the avs so I can move my fingers, toes, and control facial expressions! I know, I know...not an easy task. Maybe just put it on that evergrowing list of resident requests for updates WAY down the road? :D

how about releasing the SL avatars as poser figures, so animators can work with them directly?

It would be nice to have to have them relased as poser figures and make our av shapes exportable too so that we could remove that nastly little mis-translation problem...
