Another tree suggestion

Can I suggest please that a way be introduced to 'turn off' trees swaying in the wind?

I do find it rather annoying, and the swaying movement is often the equivalent of that caused by a hurricane force wind.

Also, when building, the amount the trees move means that they often infringe into a property if you are tight on space and need to put a tree close to a building.

If the movements (which I presume are script controlled) were able to be turned off, surely that would reduce the load on the sims a little, especially in an area where there are many trees?

I do prefer the 'one prim Linden trees' over the 'three prim store made trees' simply because I am often tight on prim space - but I do have this problem with the movement.

Whether a 'parcel tree swaying on/off' setting would work best, or on individual trees, I am not sure.

Hell Yes.

I'd also like to know why it ever bothers showing a low-res bitmap instead of a high-res one on a tree that's close enough to make a difference as you move away from it (and therefore have the high-res bitmap already).
