I was wondering if its possible to have an additional color added to the mini map to show where objects are on a proberty that do not belong to you or any one in your group. Yesterday I spent about 45 mins looking for a sweaky toy in neverland. I finally found it near the sims edge under water under land.Having to remove just about everything I could in the rendering to do it. Thats a great feature, except you can move the camera well unless you have somthing to latch on to. Maybe the shade of the color could also indicate the Z level.

On a build that size, I could see where that would be a problem. My suggestion, assuming all the prims are set to a specific group, build a little attachment that scans for non-group owned prims. When it finds one, it does a particle stream to it, so that you can easily locate it. That is a quick fix, but I agree, that would be a nice feature.

Here is a quick tip that will allow you to highlight all prims not owned by you or your group...

1. Goto the "About Land..." Pie Menu.
2. Switch to the "Objects" tab.
3. Click the "Return objects..." button next to the "Owned by others:" line.
4. Now, you will be presented with a "Return the objects on this parcel of land..." dialog asking you to RETURN or to CANCEL. Don't Do Anything!
5. Simply fly around your parcel of land. All objects owned by others will be highlighted.
6. Click the CANCEL button to cancel the return of all of the objects not owned by the group or you. You can also return them if you wish :)
