Dismantle? Naw, I like them, their fun to hang around and pounce down onto unsuspecting teleporters.

However, I would like the ability to directly teleport places without having to stop at a telehub, telehubs can be inconvient(sp) when you want to get somewhere fast. Would I pay for instant teleportation? Yes and No, I might consider paying say 10L$ for a instant teleport, but I wouldn't pay depending the distance (a-la 1.0). Rather than pay I'd rather we can instant teleport to only our Picks, that way everyone gets 10 free direct teleports. It seems stupid not to have it this way. :)

But why, Khamon? You want me to fly all over the world and waste time and money (bandwidth) on crap i have no interest in seeing?

Direct teleporting is obviously already supported, e.g., Teleport Home. I don't mind the hubs (well, so long as they're not covered). I'd just like to be able to direct teleport to all of those landmarks that currently don't do much more than take up space in my inventory. And, I don't see any reason for charging for this service. In the long run, yes, it will save on bandwidth and help with performance.

For the benefit of our newer members (and for me to increase my post total), we used to have direct teleport, back in the olden days before the invasion of the telehubbies... They stole our direct teleport and forced us to fly vast distances to our destinations.... :(

Course it meand that people actually see some of the world now, even if it is mostly giant spinning neon signs advertising someone's latest eyesore...

um. how would people get to private islands?

If they do the ocean sims to connect us all like everyone keeps asking, then fine.

No, actually. Not fine. I'm with Sio. I'm really not interested in flying. If I wanted to see that stuff, I'd go look. Don't force me.
