Animatable fingers / eyes

specialy the fingers which you seem to have no control over when making custom animations, but eyes dont seem to have any real animation either, so that'd be an extra
animatable fingers would be awsome though :D

I might be wrong, but I think the eyes are programmed to be more "dynamic", like they actually look at stuff you're focusing on. I could be wrong there. I know your head and stuff is when you're walking and aiming at stuff.

Animating fingers would be nice... They'd probably have to upgrade the character meshes, which I bet would be a huge task.

But there's already support for rudimentary facial and finger controls, we just can't access them well.

The rock-paper-scissors, "stick out tongue" and "frown" animations are examples of these. Now, if we had THAT level of control over our own animations, we'd be able to do some really cool things.

I too would like to see some sort of Facial and digit animation, whole stories can be told with a flick of a wrist and the raising of an eyebrow. In our character animation courses our instructor constantly harped on us to use the face as a tool to help tell the story of the character, they let us know when a character is angry etc. In order for us to do higher level mechanimation movies and whatnot its essential that we have control over these things, its not a matter of just wanting them, any character animator will tell you that is nigh impossible to sell the emotion without the use of the face or the hands, the body is certainly important but not compared to the face.
