A few changes/questions Easy changes in the interface I would really like to see, since they're getting on my nerves... 1) Clickables to make (ALL) children in an item copiable/saleable/modifiable. Please? 2) Rudimentary skeletal mods (good example of program with this is www.anim8or.com) for making scripted animals/joints in the world. Even with rigid-body physics, this would be nice. 3) More UV-mapping options (perhaps two textures on one prim and/or the ability to map independant UVs on textures a lot like www.uvmapper.com?). 1) The permissions arent being worked on since they will be replaced with a completely different system "real soon now". SL will be based on Creative Commons licenses.
2) SL uses the Havok physics engine. If Havok doesnt support it, youre not gonna get it. Having said that, we are transitioning to Havok 2 and Andrew said he was going to work on fixing the joints after he was done porting SL to the new version of Havok. Bear in mind that this is low priority stuff that will only be done after everything else, if ever.
3)I dont know if this is what youre talking about, but you can have a texture on each prim face. Just use the "Select Texture" feature in the Edit dialog.
