I did a very brief search for this and didn't see anything...

For privacy purposes, the camera movement should be restricted the same as your avatar. The camera should not be able to move through walls or enter onto land that the avatar doesn't have access to. One exception would be for the land owner that allows the camera to pass through walls so building isn't hindered.

There are various reasons for wanting privacy and they don't all include sex poses (although keeping "peeping toms" from watching you and your SO is perfectly valid IMO). Other reasons include:

-- just being shy when changing clothes

-- could possibly help with some PG-Mature border issues (keep the nudie stuff inside and those on the PG side can't accidently move the camera inside your building and see it)

-- wanting to build inside an enclosed structure so noone can see what you're doing until your done

-- wanting to have a secret spot that noone knows about unless you tell them

-- just because it's my lot and I don't want you snooping around

Not all of these apply to me, but I'm sure each applies to at least someone. Buying more land isn't the answer in the first life, not should it be your only option in Second Life.

Thanks for reading,
