A kind of Baazar (Marketplace)

At the begining I'd like to point that I've found only three way of selling goods. auctions, shops, and probably direct selling. All of them are realistic but quite distant for newbies. To own a shop You have to rent a space and this cost... looking for individual customers is cost free but time expensive. Auctions (best of this three) are let say occasional, so makes them quite randomal.
I came across this idea before, but i liked it. This is idea for a specific kind of marketplace, where all homless residents may sell their "artwork" Something like flea market but where all plyers can sell and buy their crafts. The idea Is easy. An multi vendor component which buy and sell things. Cash flow idea is easy as well, Cos players can set the price on their own, but baazar should add 5-6% (VAT tax ;-) Preferably 6%. 5% should go to Vendor component owner and last 1% should go to me ;-) (this last feature is optional of course) Let me show an example ....
Player X want to sell a hat for 100$L So he puts his hat on sale (in vendor component).
Player Y want to buy this hat but, he has to pay 106$L.
After succesful transaction Player X get his 100$L
6$L are divided equally to both owner of V.C. and author of idea (ME ;-)) (if aplicable).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course such baazar should be restricted to small things or a maximum price (this feature is to be decided in details).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
First of all this way of trade is realistic. Makes people easier to buy and sell things, so economy is boosting. Boosting economy brings more cash into a game.
Second thing is that such Vendor components attract residents to a specific place. And this generates traffic. So owners of popular places would be interested in having such trade booth on their parcel.

Of course such booth can have an advert-display, for "big-fish" traders, or even an external companies. (external companies can bring extra money to SL worl) so everybody happy.
I know that such vendor component requires a massive scripting but i think its worth a try.

The 5-6% isn't a VAT. No value has been added to a base product to make it a more expensive product in the act of putting it up for sale (VAT= Value Added Tax).

However, the idea sounds quite reasonable--although I don't see why you should get a payment from each sale just for the idea. If you scripted it, then yes. If I script it, etc. but give it to someone else who has the land in which to place it, then I can see my being paid (as I didn't make any money for making the script--although alternatively I could have sold it to someone with land). Even if I did decide to credit you because it was your idea, I would be incabable because I don't know your UUID (and there's no llName2Key() fuction).
IF LL impements this, they really don't have a reason to pay you either (and if they did, say, they probably wouldn't).

As I said before crediting me for it is optional... it would be nice, but not necessary.
So if you are capable of scripting such vendor machine it would be great. It would make game much easier.
Optionaly there could be direct pay. you put your stuff and You get paid. No waiting for another player to buy your stuff.
!-> Such trade booths could handle script trade too. Sellin copies of scripts (cheaper) or one time seling script (more expensive)

This idea is essentially the same as the "ONE" supermall (link in my sig), and has been sucessfully implemented a few times by diferent players.

It just that you are calling it a Bazaar instead of a Mall and calling it a VAT, instead of a user fee or sales tax.

It works fine, I say go with it. :)

Does nobody know what a VAT actually is? (And it isn't a VAT tax, because the T in VAT means "tax," it's just like PIN number. My Personal Identification Number number?)
VAT: n.
A tax on the estimated market value added to a product or material at each stage of its manufacture or distribution, ultimately passed on to the consumer.
