Whatever happened to Voting?

All that fuss and reading through now it's like ancient history that never happened. How many of the great ideas proposed even have a Linden comment let alone any indication of being considered or implemented. It annoys me that ideas are requested yet nothing happens in a year or more beyond consigning the Voting to history it seems in my opinion.

I proposed my vote ( Proposition 125) under Body Parts and it's eaily the biggest and most supported proposal in the entire category with many hundreds of votes and not even a comment from Lindens let alone any action.

was there any point in the exercise?

what happened also to other great ideas like:

-multiple home locations
-tattoo layers on body
-texture spread across multiple prims

and much much more.. it seems all we get is private estate owner improvements while the rest of us languish behind.. I pay 2.5 sim tier and can do next to nothing on my sims land compared to an island owner.. also when will the totally old outdated 3 year old Avatar Appearance system and slider limits be improved..

come on make voting mean something there were dozens and dozens of great ideas worth doing not just ideas to help favoured players make more and more money.

What happened to the 'see for miles' graphical visions we were shown of Havok Engine? Instead we got moral crusades to please American businesses.

I don't know why the Lindens pick some proposals over others. I can guess though.
1* Some ideas are easier to put in place than others.
2* Some ideas benefit more people than others.
2* Some ideas are more in demand than others.

This might be the case with estate tools - there is already a framework for them, they benefit everyone who uses private estates (indirectly) and a lot of people who pay 1000s of USD to LL per year in tier are requesting them.

The Lindens are busy - forgive them if they do not give you what you want right at once. They're trying.

If you want more attention on these ideas - post a question in SL answers, linking to the votes, making sure they have over 500 votes on them, and including a few signings by well-known residents that they would be a good idea. That should hopefully get the Lindens looking at them much faster.
