Suggestion for Replacement of Grey Loading Texture

I propose the grey loading texture be replaced with the "Impeach George Bush" sign texture.

Why?

Gag value.

Alternately, a "flashlight mod" of the texture would be great.

I figure we could use the "Impeach George Bush" sign as the loading texture for a month or so.

Then we could switch back to a gray box with a white outline like we have now.

People would be dancing in the streets seeing that gray rectangle with a white outline.

After a month of Impeach George Bush, the return of Gray Box with White Outline would be the happiest time in all SL history.

And then everyone would hopefully be sick of it and you could get what you want? Sorry, that spilled out of me.

What is it that you think I want?

To be able to just click those bush signs and make them go away.

I am more troubled personally by the ubiquitous gray loading textures than the George Bush signs. The gray loading textures actually do appear every single place I go in SL, while the George Bush signs only seem to.

Other possible alternate loading textures might be signs that say "Tier Up Now!" or if SL is actually a fascist state as some suggest perhaps letters that say "Obey The Elite" might be useful.

Most of the guys and some of the women might enjoy pictures of scantily clad women as an alternative loading texture.

I personally would probably benefit from messages designed to get me to deal better with day to day, like "Clean Your Room!" or "Don't Eat That!".

Why they are using a gray rectangle with a white outline when they could be charging for advertising space escapes me. Perhaps the guy advertising overpriced Celeron computers in the General forum would like to have his products advertised on the loading texture. LL is missing out on a potential big revenue stream here.

That gets me thinking - there is unused space on many of the error dialogs - such as the sim crash one or the crash reporter dialogs - and these are seen by thousands of people every day? Why aren't they making use of this blank space by filled it with paid advertising?

The loading textures and the error message boxes and dialogs are by far he most widely seen things in SL and they aren't bringing in any dough.

Where has LL's entrepreneurial spirit gone?
