Back before my brief holiday from Internetland (moved house), there was a thread (now lost I think) about new clothing positions. I used my time away to think about it, and I think we need the following clothing positions (names for new positions are open to debate):

- Skin contours (this is essentially the 'tattoos' option from the skin control, but renamed)

- Head Tattoo [new] - Finally an official place for tattoo artists to use, instead of wondering whether skin or underwear is the better approach. Moving tattoos from the skin controls allows freedom for people to use designer skins and designer tattoos together.
- Balaclava [new] - A form-fitting head garment. Controls woudl affect neck length, eye opening size, and mouth opening size.
- Veil [new] - a loose head garment, conceptually similar to the skirt in the way it flows. Controls would cover length, wideness, and front/side/back slits.

- Upper Body Tattoo [new]
- Undershirt
- Shirt
- Jacket
- Coat [new] - a loose body garment, conceptually similar to the skirt in the way it flows. Controls would affect length, wideness, and front/side/back slits.

- Lower Body Tattoo [new]
- Underpants
- Pants
- Skirt

- Socks
- Shoes

I think this covers all the conventional clothing pieces that have ever been thought up until now.

Also whether it had sleeves or flowed over the arms, unless the jacket was fixed to use a new layer and could extend all the way to the ground.
