Request to NOT deactivate Gestures on move

I have noticed ever since the beginning of my Second Life adventure that gestures are deactivated when I sort them into folders. Why does this happen? Is there any good reason? For someone like myself with a fair amount of gestures, it's a small but noticeable inconvenience to have to shuffle them around and then right click on each one to Activate again.

Along the same lines, is there a way to batch-activate many gestures at once?

Additionally... a way to name a gesture as you create it, so you don't have to go to the Inv window, right-click on the "New Gesture" name, and rename it? (I could also see a similar logic applied to all those "New Snapshots", by the way.)
