This was originally posted in General, but I think it is better here, so I have started it here too.

Apologies if this is bad manneers or something, but I think it important enough even for a double thread.

Because of the latest events, and others, I have made a proposal that the automatic return of objects due to prim overload of land sould be strictly on a last in / first out basis.

I have in the past lost stuff because of accidental prim overload ( a huge Zeppelin floating over my already full land), and it irritated me no end that I had to rebuild and relink my house because of the prim overload.

I believe the prim overload (and prim attack) issue would be a lot less troublesome if the autoreturn of overload prims operated on a strict Last In, First Out basis.

Then the newest (either your own, or the intruding) prims would be returned, and you would be able to avoid the whole hassle of rebuilding.

If you like this idea, give it a vote.

I've been saying this since 1.5 when things seemed to get randomly deleted after overflowing your prim allocation. I had a thread on the matter which was completely ignored at the time. I can see no reason to allow rezzing of any prims over the allocation for the parcel, why is it so difficult to implement ? Why the need to return prims ? Just don't allow them to be rezzed and automaticlly return anything that moves onto the land from outside. If someone is sitting on a vehicle, that's ok, it's basically an attachment, but if someone attempts to rez prims on land that is full the prims should simply not appear.
Can it be so difficult to check the number of prims in an object before it's actually rezzed ?

I logged on this morning expecting a disaster zone, incredibly I lost little or nothing this time, ( kudos to LL ) did anyone else ?

Well, I a fairly large plot which had 9 prims remaining. This morning there were still 9 prims remaining, so I assume that nothing untoward has happened.
