Linden Labs should think about that...Secured root account should contain all the basic info from registration(RL user name, credit cards,etc...) that allow us to create, manage, edit or delete a limited number of avatars within as we please...

Then LL shouldn't gave us the permission to create another root ever;and if some info must be changed over time(removal, credit cards,cancellation,etc...),all we have to do is contact the support/billing service...

Of course, all avatar changes should be logged in account history. That way,if someone tries to use alt names for their mischievious intentions,LL can be sure it is roughly the same and one person(unless being hacked) and can issue warnings or banishment after investigation...

That's just my two cents for improving both player experience/freedom and overall security...Be free to add yours!

Elizabeth,

Your wish is granted, and now we have root accounts. Question. How will you stop someone signing up a second root account, or put with different grammar, how do you stop people signing up second and third SL accounts?

Well by experience I have one active account and all other that I've created are almost or definitely defunct by now and can't be allowed to create new one since I've reached the limit of 4 or 5,even if I change credit card or email adress(so it could be the same for your name),then your must be linked by your IP adress or something like that...

So if LL have a way to refrain more than a limited number of accounts, why it shouldn't be the same for a root account?
