On the downloads page: http://secondlife.com/downloads/It would be great if there was more information on the client downloads, The full version number and when the client was last updated. That way people could look at the downloads page and see 'Ah a new version has come out since breakfast' and not have to wait for the client to download the update itself. This would be usefull for people like myself who do not use SL on a Admin account and have to change accounts to install updates. Thanks.

I'd like this too. It's confusing otherwise... yeah it'd be nice to say what day and time it was finished too... this information is available in About AFTER you download, but not beforehand. P.S. Maybe you should post this on Hotline To Linden? It's pretty relevant given the current!

I'd prefer to have the lindens focused on fixing the grid and other issues for now, Maybe once things calm down I'll post in the hotline if they dont see it here.

Maybe they found this thread While downloading todays update I see its listed as 1.7.0.54 which is more detail than I remember in the last few days where it was just 1.7 . No mention of what it does on the page or when it came out but Hey a version number is a good start.
