I'd love it if you start off with 1000L, or at least even 500L when you just start playing SL. I don't find it very fun to start with only 250L, and if you're someone like me who doesn't buy Linden Dollars, it's tough to get a lot of money in the beginning to get the essentials. :P What do you think?

Whilst I understand the concept, there is no such thing as an 'essential', things like clothing, hair and new skins are actually luxuries.

Besides, there are plenty of places like YadNi's that you can obtain loads of content for L$1 a box.

If you need more money, you could always upgrade to a Premium account for only $9.95. You get a L$250 payment upon signing up, and a further L$1000 payment after the 7 day trial and the account becomes chargeable. A weekly payment of L$500 is also given.

So... for that $9.95 in the first month you get L$2750 which at the current price is $9.66 ... meaning you are paying around 1 cent a day for unlimited access to the game, plus you get a free 512 sq m land ownership allowance thrown in for no extra money.

Each month after that, you get 4 (sometimes 5 but we'll stick to 4) L$500/week payments, L$2000 which is around $7.11 of free money, meaning you are paying 10 cents a day for unlimited game time.

Sounds to me like Premium would solve a lot of your problems - and contribute something towards the running costs to enable you to keep playing.

If you'd start with 4 times the money you get now, all prices would go up 4 times.
So you still couldnt buy anything more then you can now ;)
Maybe spend 1 whole dollar to double your L$!
And like Lewis said: there's a lot of free or L$ 1 stuff.

Thanks for your comments, guys. I didn't know about the Lindens you get when you buy Premium, but I'd prefer not to have a pay account at the moment. ;)
