Sandboxes for paid members!

Ok, so i was over at sandbox Goguen, one of the few sandbox with scripts enabled, so that i caould package my builds in a rez-faux, and i could not even find a 10x10 open piece of land!

There were so many items placed by people who were either non paying, or a few days old, and 1 guy even said it was his goal to cover the entire sandbox with aton of junk!!

So, i propose a sandbox for those members who actually PAY, so that we can have an effective place to build, without being bombarded by people who just dont care.

There are a number of privately owned sandbox areas that might serve your purpose.

You can get a list of some of them by putting "sandbox" in as a search term in the Search dialog, Places tab.

pfft i like the idea about a sandbox for members who pay better than finding a private one

It would be nice if LL provided a sandbox restricted to people with payment info USED only.

In the meantime though, look up the sim called 'Sex' (not kidding about the name, though it doesn't actually have any sex in it, just building). Go there. You'll need an invite from the management group to use the sandbox though - the entry area has scripting, building, flying, and pretty much everything else locked down to prevent griefer attacks.

The only problem with locking down sandboxes to paying/payment info users is that there are people--like myself, but I do have info on file as I joined before the cell phones--that legitimately want to build and market their creations.

Heck, I know Sex is a great sim for building, but there are times I want scripting so that I can test the SCRIPT and if it explodes I don't want to take down someone's club while I'm at it (I've never brought down a sim due to scripting (or anything else for that matter), but I did one time create a 5 minute between replications grey goo (it wasn't supposed to goo)).

My preference for sandboxes is those at FurNation. They are full feature sandboxes (not sure about push, haven't been there since that was enabled), and they gets no grief (oddly). There are the occational forgotten builds, but the land has an autoreturn of 6 hours and the *two* sandboxes are 90% of the sim they are in, so there's always open space. I've always been able to find a spot where there's no one and no forgoten builds in my draw distance (64m) or at the very limits of it and been able to build and script in private.

But every once in a while you'll get someone who discovers it, and drops every single item from his inventory onto it.

Also, i was at a privately owned sandbox, and someone came over and dropped 3 of those pyramid schemes onto my builds, and flew off ( i was at 150m, trying to avoid that already)

And still, even tho it was private that stuff still hapens.

No need for a proposition. There are sandboxes open only to premium accounts. The check is done manually, of course.

Actually its as easy as clicking the button that Dissallows no-payment info on file... No more fresh out of the Box newbies or griefer alts!
