New Information Column On Friends List

I've only played SL for a couple months now, and already my friends list has grown huge.
The problem is I use this method for contacts to my art gallery as well as friend friends. So after awhile I'll be looking at my friends list and going "ok, how do I know this person from?" because I may not have talked to them in ages.

Can we have a new info column to the right of everyones names on the friends list where I can type in a few words or a sentence about where I know these people? Then make this description line also available to view/edit if I right click on a calling card of the person. This will really help keep things organized later on down the road.

(Yes I know I can give a calling card instead of friendship, but even then I will still have a calling card sitting in my inventory where I can't remember who that person is, so this system would apply just as well for that.)

There's a Notes section in the profile.
I don't use it because at the time, I don't need it but later when I DO need the information that I would have typed there, it's gone.

What *I* want is a log of all IMs and General Chat. Yes, I know that's a lot of hard drive space, but I'd willingly sacrifice that to have a log of everyone I've ever talked to.

I know about the notes section, but that's several clicks away. I was wanting a quick at a glance listing right there on that list. Now maybe a compromise would be to have a "notes" button to the right of everyones names on the list, that way I click it once and go straight to the notes page of their profile.

Wouldnt it be awesome if you could devide your list into catagories... like Friend, Customers, Slingo Players.. that sort of thing.

We really need another tab in search...

This would let us search for our notes in all profiles, and update them in place.

I'd add that when you call up someone's profile, the 'notes' tab should hilight in some way if you've got notes stored on them, so you can tell you have notes for.

In the friends list, a 'notes' button next to names would be great, especially if it only appeared for avs you had notes for. Then you could have a system, say, "I give notes to people I know well, so if I forget how I know them I can find out quickly."....... that'd really help you sort your list.
