New item system for certain items

Hello folks, just had an idea thought i might post it up, see what you make of it.

At the moment as a builder i'm very limited, either to my own textures i make and upload, or to free ones, that or i go out and purchase others, but not be able to share them.

My idea would be that their could be a group purchase, basically that you could purchase an item or items and they would be available for use to a group, so say i brought some textures i could then share them with everyone in my group but not anyone outside of it.

Hi Nikolaos. Interesting idea. I think it would be very difficult to make this work given the limited permissions capabilties of Second Life. Perhaps even more challenging would be the far-reaching implications of such a feature. For example, what should happen if a person with access to or possession of a group-owned item should leave or be ejected from the group?
