Okay, yes, I realise I suggested the "show land owner" click-box before I realised what that click-box did. (big thank you to the person that nicely informed me!)
But how about this:
For advanced users, a greatly compressed but full-function edit mode panel (choice in Preferences).
I'm aware of the 'more/less' button, but the need for the panel to be 'less' is greatest when trying to do 'more'.
Maybe I'm the only one left making things 'by the numbers' or without use of scripted alignment tabs - I rarely speak with other designers.
Perhaps I'm missing something fundamental, or would this feature be appreciated by all?

A better edit panel would be nice. What would be nicer is being able to configure the UI through XML.
I seem to remember there's a thread about it somewhere but I can't search for terms that small.

This would be something i would like to see aswell please. I also build by the numbers,but the edit window can seem huge and cumbersome. Maybe having the option for the edit window to be horizontal or vertical would be the answer while allowing us to drag shrink or expand the via the corners of the window.
While kinda on the subject,when edit window is minimised,it drops right to where chat bubbles show across the bottom left of the screen and blocks out what other people are say making a constant need to open chat history just to see what was said. Any chance you can change this to minimise the windows the the lower right of the screen? Petty request i'm sure,but would help no end to me and other builders.

A sleek thin horizontally oriented property bar that is small enough to leave up all the time, displays the property of existing objects, and allows for editing objects one is making, like CoreDraw has, is something I have requested before.
The giant editor than can't even be docked, and is always in the way, is extremely annoying and not needed at all.
